Schedule

The National Opioids Settlement and other settlement agreements have created a sense of hope for families and communities affected by the opioid crisis and provided a profound opportunity for states and providers across the nation to begin to repair the damage the epidemic has wrought. There is so much to do to understand how to most effectively distribute the $26 billion allocated to 46 states as part of the National Opioids Settlement and other elements of the $50 billion settlement proceeds. The Summit on the National Opioids Settlement: A Pathway to Hope will serve as a conversation and planning session on the most pressing issues facing communities and children and families impacted by the opioid crisis, collaboratively determine solutions that are most needed, and build a path forward for an evidence-informed response to this crisis. Together, we will understand the framing of the problem, define the most important areas that need solutions, and determine the solutions that need evidence in tow.
